Building your Bridge

It’s the end of the week and I’ve been busy building bridges.

As you know, a bridge provides passage over a physical obstacle allowing you to get to point A to point B.

This week I was hit with every obstacle: political, relationship, and personal. It was frustrating to have a plan in place only to see roadblocks pop up blocking me from achieving my goals.

But as always, patience and self-reflection prevailed.

This was my bridge building process:

Belief: I had an open mind to the possibility that I was able to achieve my goals. There was zero doubt that I was going to accomplish what I set out to do.

Action: Regardless of how overwhelming the tasks might have seemed, I resisted the temptation to procrastinate. As long as I was making forward progress, I was winning.

Discipline: Things didn’t always go as planned. However, I adapted, buckled down, and pressed on until I achieved my goals.

How many bridges have you built this week? Were you able to tackle each obstacle by believing in yourself, taking action and being disciplined in pressing forward towards achieving your goals? If so, welcome to the builders club!

Given the right mindset you have the power to do all things.
